Outside of work

Life's not all work.

Here's what I'm tinkering on right now: watches, wheels, and wires. This page stays unfinished on purpose, and each badge shows where a project really stands.

202 Watch Rescue

Vintage & pre-owned watch repair and resale

A hands-on side project exploring watch repair, restoration, and resale — sourcing pre-owned and vintage pieces, cleaning them up, and giving them a second life. Less about scaling a business, more about learning the craft of watchmaking one piece at a time.

Two wheels

Pick a ride to see the build

I work in transportation, and it turns out I can't stop there. I love getting around on two wheels and I love building the things I ride. Tap one of the three to see what's going on with it.

Motorcycle

Honda CB300R

While most motorcycle enthusiasts like to go bigger and faster with every bike they buy, I have yet to have that 'itch.' As my fourth motorcycle, the Honda CB300R is plenty fast enough for getting around the city, even if I have the smallest displacement at every Bikes and Coffee meetup.

I love working on my bike myself and so far I have added: new clutch/brake levers, hand guards to protect the nice levers, heated grips imported from Japan, Baja LED off-road lights for better visibility, Quadlock forkmount for central navigation, tail tidy to clean up the rear end, T-Rex rear sliders, T-Rex quick spool mounts, R&G tank pads for better grip, SR clutch pack and 30% stiffer springs, SW Motech engine guard, and some Dunlop Mutant hybrid tires.

The home rack

My nerdy side, in 6U

Not everything I build has wheels. Tucked in my home is a compact network rack: a managed switch, a patch panel, a couple of small PCs, and a surge-protected power strip holding it all together.
